Accounts Receivable Financing

Accounts receivable financing, often referred to as A/R financing, is a financing tool which allows small business owners and middle market companies to convert the money owed from its credit worthy customers (receivables) into cash immediately rather than waiting for 30, 60, 90 or even 120 days for payment.

The pledging of a companies accounts receivables is often referred to as a type of off-balance sheet financing because the primary collateral is the accounts receivable of the company.  In the event of default, the lender simply has the authority to collect the receivables from the debtors of the company.
